Day 1Cape Town International Airport - Simon's Town

Today you will be met by a guide for a friendly introduction and receiving of your welcome pack (information, route maps and booklets) for your cycle trip. From here your luggage and bikes are collected and transferred to your accommodation in the peaceful coastal seaside town of Simon’s town. Located about an hours drive from the airport, enjoy a scenic drive passing splendid views through Chapman’s peak as you make your way for your overnight accommodation.

Day 2Simon's Town - Stellenbosch

Cycle for 58Km passing vineyards and mountain views to the oak lined town of Stellenbosch. Located along the banks of the Eerste river which flows through the surrounding Jonkershoek mountains. Historically one of the first towns of the western region filled with fine wine estates, beautiful Dutch style architecture and a charming atmosphere.

Day 3Stellenbosch - Pringle Bay

Cycle for 60km alongside ocean panorama’s bordering the eastern shoreline of False bay into Pringle Bay. Marking the eastern end of False bay Hangklip mountain lies in the distance abound with natural caves. Nestled within a warm lagoon and lapping beach waters, the quaint buildings and seaside restaurants makes for a peaceful stroll and fresh seafood dishes.

Day 4Pringle Bay - Hermanus

Cycle for 58km to the whaleside town of Hermanus, well known for its whale watching, rising from the cliffs whales can be seen during June – December. Located in the Cape floristic kingdom, nature lovers can observe endemic fynbos and great white sharks lurking in the cold blue waters. Time permitting enjoy a shark cage dive experience and come up close with the mighty beasts.

Day 5Hermanus - Napier

Cycle further on wards today for 75km to Napier. An attractive village with quaint art galleries, churches and century old cottages. Situated at the foothills of the Soetmuisberg. The surrounding region of rolling barley and wheatfields creates a unique peaceful atmosphere characteristic of farmlands that’s are found in the Overberg region.

Day 6Napier - Cape Agulhas

Continue cycling today for 54km to reach the southernmost point in Africa at Cape Agulhas. Standing between the two dividing lines that separate the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. A rocky headland with a spectacular gradually curving coastline of rocky and sandy beaches. Wander to the lighthouse and enjoy scenic ocean views before retreating to your accommodation for a final night overlooking the two oceans.

Day 7Cape Agulhas - Cape Town

After breakfast you will be met by a friendly guide for your pick up collection and be driven to Cape Town to catch your departing flight or further travel arrangements.
